Chefs Lynette Mosher and Robert Krajewski opened the doors to LILY BISTRO at 421 Main Street in Rockland, Maine the summer of 2008. They were invited to cook at the prestigious James Beard House in February 2009.
The restaurant is a place where locals, tourists and vacationers dine on simple French country fair. Featuring local ingredients, it is important to us to know where our food comes from. We source from local farms predominately in Maine and New England. Serving wine, beer, and a full bar. Located in the heart of "Rockland's Art Community"
Mosher and Krajewski have extensive backgrounds in the culinary arts; and have been a couple since they met at Johnson & Wales University in the late 1990s. The two have worked in almost 20 restaurant kitchens, most notably in Boston at Olives, Clio, Radius, Biba, Pignoli, Truc, The Blue Room, Chez Henri and Pigalle. Krajewski and bakes the sourdough with his 50 year old starter, and has developed the ever changing "seasonal" wine list. Mosher heads the tiny kitchen, catering to the 10 table dining room.
Drawing on family roots in this region, Mosher and Krajewski have close alliances with local producers. Produce from Morning Dew Farm, Dandelion Springs, Dilly Dally Farms, After the Fall, Rolling Acres and meat from Guini Ridge Farm, Fish from Port Clyde Fresh Catch.
